Dream Investigations
Hi there.
I’m so glad you found this place.
I know I’m a little out-of-the-way here on the third floor, above the chinese restaurant.
Sorry about those glaring red neon lights. Here, I’ll adjust the blinds.
Is that better?
So, I guess I should start by saying this isn’t a real detective agency, just a detective agency of the soul…

You might be here for a few reasons.
Maybe there’s something going on with you that you can’t understand with your logical mind.
You might be a creative person looking to tap into a mine of rich connections and symbols that are uniquely yours.
Maybe there are things in your life playing out over and over without your conscious decision, and you wonder if there’s some information you’re missing.
You may have a recurring dream, or be having more-intense-than-normal dreams.
Or maybe you just find dreamtime messages totally trippy (hi! I do too!)

What if there were a way to communicate with a deeper part of yourself, a place to go for wisdom and inspiration whenever you needed?
Come on in, have a seat.

Here’s the thing about dreams…
Dreams create a safe space for hard stuff.
Dreams can be intense, but their utter ridiculousness provides a safe way to work on deep stuff. It can be way easier to talk about a dream than to try and attack scary issues head-on.
Dreams are awesome for internal communication.
Dreams wrap important messages in costume and metaphor, so they can sneak past our inner censor. Investigating our dreams allows us to learn what our deepest self wants us to know.
Paying attention to your dreams can speed healing.
Just like antibodies heal our finger if we cut it, dreams come to us in order to heal something. Investigating our dreams helps us to make connections that can speed this healing.

So what exactly happens during a dream investigation?
I’ll be a guide for you in this process of listening to your unconscious, providing a safe space for you to dive in to your dream.
First, you’ll tell me in detail about a dream you’ve had recently.
Then, we’ll explore imagery and associations particular to you, always aware that these are your messages. (This is not a one-size-fits-all, dream-dictionary kind of scenario.)
Finally, we’ll talk about how the dream might relate to what’s going on in your life.

Who am I to do this, anyway?
Oh, right. I guess I should introduce myself.
If you’ve been hanging out here in my neighborhood, you already know a little about me. I’m Eileen Corrigan Valazza, and I help people find the little clues their subconscious is leaving for them.
My interest in dreams began during 3 years of life-changingly intense Jungian analysis.
I’ve written a lot about dream analysis and my experiences with it. (I have also written a lot about recovering from depression without medication, in which dream analysis played a large part.)

The Lowdown:
A Dream Investigation lasts for 60 minutes, on the phone. You will also get a recording, in case you want to review it later (though if you prefer the session not be recorded that’s totally cool too.)
The package also includes an email follow-up, so you’re not left hanging in case questions come up later.
Thank you so much for being here!

The session with Eileen was fabulous. I loved the kind, gentle, and informative approach she took to diving into dreams.
I came into it thinking my dream had to do with one thing and at the end saw that it was much deeper than I realized.

Dream investigating with Eileen is so incredibly valuable as the methods I have for doing this by myself take ages and that puts me off doing it at all.
The messages contained in the dreams are so profoundly useful and can shift things that no amount of thinking will, it's a tragedy if they go untapped.
You are a lovely guide, Eileen. You knew how to keep me feeling safe and enjoying my experience. You never once forgot that it was my site of exploration, my stuff, my mind, my life. Yet, I had the impression you were a step ahead or right there next to me, carrying the light.
Even for someone who has spent years exploring the inner landscape, having a smart and knowledgeable guiding presence can make the world of difference.
It's hard to imagine telling someone about your dreams, because they're yours, and private, and it seems scary to delve into them with someone else. This is why I loved investigating my dreams with Eileen. She is sweet and compassionate and funny and real - and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable (even when the information made me cry).
